We offer personalized Board & Train programs, Private Lessons, Day Trains, and Puppy Training throughout Orange County, California. For clients who have trained with us, we also provide limited boarding and daycare to help maintain structure and consistency.

My journey with dogs began years ago as a foster, where I trained and helped place hundreds of dogs through a local rescue in Michigan. In 2016, I turned that passion into my full-time career. After relocating to Orange County, I officially founded Mac’s Canine Consultants—named after my dog, who started it all.

Today, I’ve built a trusted team that shares the same commitment to structure, communication, and real-life results. Together, we’re here to support you and your dog every step of the way.

It’s a privilege to be part of your dog’s growth and journey, and to help create a calmer, more enjoyable life for your entire family. I look forward to connecting with you.

💜 Meet Your Trainers

The team behind your dog’s success.

Our programs are built on structure, communication, and real-life results. Each trainer plays a specific role, allowing us to meet dogs where they are and provide the right level of support, care, and guidance.

Cynthia – Owner & Head Trainer

Cynthia is the owner of Mac’s Canine Consultants and oversees every aspect of training, from puppy foundations to advanced behavior work. Her approach is centered on communication, structure, and helping owners create a lifestyle that supports long-term success with their dog.

She works closely with a wide range of dogs, with a natural focus on puppies, smaller breeds, and dogs that are more sensitive, anxious, or in need of a calmer, more thoughtful approach. Cynthia specializes in helping these dogs build confidence while guiding owners on how to lead clearly and consistently.

In addition to training, she manages the overall structure of each program to ensure every dog receives the right balance of guidance, repetition, and follow-through. Her goal is always the same: a calm, reliable dog and an owner who feels confident handling them in everyday life.

Jojo – Trainer

Jojo plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day training process, working hands-on with dogs during day train sessions, private lessons, and structured walks. Her calm, steady approach helps reinforce the foundation work—engagement, obedience, and follow-through—in a consistent and reliable way.

She focuses on helping dogs understand expectations through repetition and clear guidance, ensuring behaviors carry beyond the training session and into real-life environments. Jojo’s role is essential in building consistency, giving each dog the time and structure they need to succeed.

Through her work, dogs gain clarity, confidence, and the ability to maintain their training in everyday situations.

Keith – Trainer

Keith brings a strong, structured presence to the team and leads training for more powerful, high-energy dogs, as well as boarding and daycare in his home environment. His space allows for controlled socialization, giving dogs the opportunity to learn appropriate behavior around others in a safe, structured setting.

He specializes in working with larger dogs and those that require more guidance, accountability, and clear boundaries. Keith’s ability to stay grounded and consistent helps dogs navigate higher levels of distraction while maintaining control and stability.

By combining training with real-life exposure and structured socialization, Keith plays a key role in developing dogs that are not only obedient, but balanced and manageable in everyday environments.
